The basic principle of production pipeline is to decompose a production repetitive process into several sub-processes, the former sub-process creates execution conditions for the next sub-process, and each process can be carried out at the same time with other sub-processes.

The characteristic of the production line is that each process is completed by specific people and processed step by step. 

Everyone does a specific job. 

The advantage is that it will be faster to produce, because everyone only needs to do one thing and is very familiar with what they are doing. 

The disadvantage is that people who work will find it very boring. 

The automatic line is to realize the production of products by using a set of machines and equipment that can automatically process, detect, load and unload and transport to form a highly continuous and fully automated production line. 

It is further developed and formed on the basis of continuous assembly line, and it is an advanced form of production organization. 

Its development trend is to improve the tunability, expand the process range, improve the processing accuracy and the degree of automation, and combine with the computer to realize the whole automation workshop and automation factory.

Each link in the process can be discontinuous. 

The assembly line is made up of some continuous links in the manufacturing process. 

When one or more of these links are interrupted, the whole assembly line is paralyzed.
