Production line can be used as transport machinery has been widely used in coal, grain, flour processing plants and other industries. 

It can transport not only bulk materials, but also bagged materials. 

When users install and use this kind of equipment, they are not very clear about the causes of some failures and there are not many ways to deal with them. 

The manufacturer of the production line analyzes the causes and treatment methods of the common faults of this kind of equipment. 

First, the skidding of conveyor belt and its solution. 

During the operation of the production line conveyor belt, there are many reasons for skidding, and the common reasons and solutions are: 

1, the initial tension is too small, the conveyor belt away from the drum tension is not enough to cause the conveyor belt skidding. 

This situation generally occurs during startup, and the solution is to adjust the tension device and increase the initial tension. 

2. The friction between the transmission drum and the conveyor belt is not enough to cause skidding. 

Most of the reasons are that there is water on the conveyor belt or the environment is wet. 

The solution is to add some rosin powder to the drum. 

However, we should be careful not to add it by hand, but use the blast equipment to blow in, so as to avoid personal accidents.

3. The tail roller bearings are damaged and do not rotate or the upper and lower roller bearings are damaged and do not rotate too much. 

The cause of the damage is that the tail is too floating and sinking, and the parts that have been damaged or turned inflexibly are not repaired and replaced in time, which increases the resistance and causes skidding. 

4. Even if the starting speed is too fast, it can slip. 

At this time, you can start at a slow speed. 

If the squirrel cage motor is used, it can be started twice and then started, which can also effectively overcome the skidding phenomenon. 

5. The load of the conveyor belt is too large, and it will slip if it exceeds the capacity of the motor. 

The advantage of skidding at this time is that it protects the motor. 

Otherwise, the motor will burn down after a long time. 

But for operation, it is a skidding accident. 

To overcome the skidding phenomenon of the conveyor belt, we must first find the cause of the skidding before we can take effective measures to solve the problem. 

Second, the deviation of the conveyor belt and its treatment. 

Belt deviation is a common fault when belt conveyor is running. 

There are many reasons for deviation, the main reasons are low installation accuracy and poor daily maintenance. 

In the process of installation, the head and tail rollers and middle rollers are on the same centerline as far as possible and parallel to each other to ensure that the conveyor belt is not biased or less biased. 

In addition, the belt joint should be correct and the perimeter on both sides should be the same. 

In the course of use, if there is a deviation, the following checks should be made to determine the cause and make adjustments. 

The parts and treatment methods that often check the deviation of conveyor belt are as follows:


Bilateral belt production line


1. Check the non-coincidence between the horizontal centerline of the idler and the longitudinal centerline of the belt conveyor. 

If the non-coincidence value is more than 3mm, it should be adjusted by using the long mounting holes on both sides of the roller group. 

The specific method is which side of the conveyor belt is biased, which side of the roller group moves forward in the direction of the conveyor belt, or the other side moves backward. 

2. Check the deviation of the two planes of the bearing housing installed by the head and tail frame. 

If the deviation between the two planes is more than 1mm, the two planes should be adjusted in the same plane. 

The adjustment method of the head drum is as follows: if the conveyor belt deviates to the right side of the drum, the bearing housing on the right side of the drum should move forward or the left bearing seat should move backward; if the conveyor belt deviates to the left side of the drum, the bearing housing on the left side of the drum should move forward or the right bearing seat should move backward. 

The adjustment method of the tail drum is just the opposite of the head drum. 

3. Check the position of the material on the conveyor belt. 

If the material is not centered on the cross section of the conveyor belt, it will lead to the deviation of the conveyor belt. 

If the material deviates to the right, the belt deviates to the left, and vice versa. 

When in use, you should center the material as much as possible. 

In order to reduce or avoid the deviation of this kind of conveyor belt, the baffle can be added and the direction and position of the material can be changed.
